I have a long neck available if anyone is interested
I still play my Adams A12 Idea Pro irons...some of the best irons I've ever played.
Ping PLD has a long neck Anser … $450
Just hit the GT2 driver,….ordered it.
How does the balance on the Catalina compare to the Newport Longneck?
Why not mill it to that depth with the first pass through?
Good question. The second milling does not make the milling marks deep. It clips the points off the areas before the mill marks, leaving them flat. According to Scotty, that puts more steel and surface area of the hitting area in contact with the ball, and that amplifies feel. The first milling, the deep one, remains intact. - DD
The last Nike irons were Vapor Pro not Vapor Fly Pro.
not for me, they keep screwing left handed golfers out of options like this.
Had my fitting last week, it’s amazing to hit!
Clueless as to how to get my hands on this lol
Here you go: www.scottycameron.com/b3-triple-black-design-ltd/
How close to face balanced are these?
The Newport 2 Long Neck in the video is nearly face-balanced. - DD
$749 is absolutely ridiculous
I've been waiting a very ling time for a weighted Long Neck NP2. Thankfully I was able to obtain one in my desired length. I'm really looking forward to gaming it as I think it will be a perfect match for me. My preference would be a silver finish though. The black is pretty cool, but I'm completely indifferent to it. I'm bummed at the cost, but this is the head I've wanted "forever" and will take what I can get. Beggars can't be choosers. Game on.
I hope you enjoy your new putter. Let me know how it performs after you've played a few rounds. - DD
Great informative review, being from Oz you probably just saved me $800aud.
Imagine ur on the green putting for eagle then u 3 putted lol
Looks like a PDL Scotty was lil late to the party
How did the material look? Do you think it’ll scratch up or does it look like it will hold up I plan on putting it in the bag
I think it should be fine. There have been plenty of PVD finishes on Scotty Cameron putters before, and unlike irons, hopefully, you're not using it to make full swings, hit out of bunkers and take divots. Those are the things that wear away black finishes fasters. - DD
@@DavidDusek no I was just worried about the shaft, scratching up while in the bag more than anything
I'm sure it will be fine.
Oh to be right handed
You didn’t notice that left-handed Newport 2 in the video?
Man again no hitting this is no help, want to hear sound and compare the faces together
What didnt you do a video hitting the irons,so we can hear the sound.your pricing doesnt say if steel or graphite
What didn't you talk about lofts?
David first one here again!!!! This time you don't need to give away one of the new Scotty Cameron Triple Black Limited putters, since I already ordered my Sante Fe. Thanks for the video.
I just ordered the Sante Fe. Hoping it's here this coming Friday 7/26. Appreciate the quick video. Will you be doing a video on the Autoflex driver shaft?
How did you order one already? Says they don’t release until the 25th?
@@silverlionblades spoke to my golf shop to say please get me one. Confirmed order.
I'm fairly certain the flow will work for me... How is the feel?
The B3 Triple Black feels like the Super Select, and both are softer than previous generations of Scotty Cameron putters. The deep mill makes a difference. - DD
@@DavidDusek Thank you for the response David. This is welcoming news.
I’m having problems finding where to purchase Adam’s Clubs! Any suggestions where to buy them?
Adams Golf is only sold online, directly. It's not in shops. www.adamsgolf.com/
He said GP 😂
Good explanation.. very helpful.. thx
I have served. I will be of service. - DD
Thanks. Good video/ information
Spins less? Less than what? It’s a high spinning ball for faster club head speeds
AVX spins less than every other Titleist premium ball. It also produces a lower launch angle. AVX has a lower compression than Pro V1, Pro V1x and Pro V1x Left Dash, so it feels sorter too. It’s for high-spin players who want a ball that reduces spin off the tee and with long irons. - DD
Literally only one option per wedge for lefties. Hate it here.
Same MIM as cobras older model?
Cobra has been using the same MIM for a few years. - DD
I wasn’t sure if I should get the standard opus or the expensive one but thanks to this video I’m going with the regular one, thanks for saving me $100 😅
Have have served, I will be of service. - DD
I game an old set of Nike VR TW blades, better than most modern clubs
Great review!
Thanks!
Very spinny ball. Kirkland clone
🔥🔥🔥
2nd do i get a wedge please
No. Don’t beg
David, first one here therefore I win a Callaway Opus wedge. Thanks for the new club I do appreciate it. Do you need my address??? Appreciate the video and have a good one.
❤❤❤
Very good advice, especially the notes at the end about "not just buying the next thing" but making sure it fits your bag and game. Wedges and putters are sooooo personal to your feel, this should be no exception.
I have seen on on WedgeWorks site as A+ with 08 degree bounce and GolfOnline UK A+ with 04 degree bounce. Seems odd. Are there two bounce options for the A+?
I could play a full bag of titleist clubs. Not having the mini driver, is the only thing missing
Thanks for the info! This was great!
Oh to be right handed
I love titleist drivers. Ive played the TSi3 & now the TSr3. My only issue with them is that EXTRA GLOSSY finish. Bro, if i even breathe on the crown of a titleist driver, it gets scratched. Can we tone down the gloss for future iterations? No...maybe its just me.
Jordan is FINISHED! He’ll never get back to where he was! No more majors! Mediocre AT BEST when compared with the world’s best! He’s basically average at everything except IN THE PAST putting. Also not a fan of his leading edge chipping! Dragging the handle is not a very effective way to chip. Letting the club bottom out with bounce is the way to go! Like Scottie, Tiger, and others.
I wish Titleist would offer the JT (K) grind in WW.
They have the low bounce K
@@brocklambert Not exactly! He’s not playing the basic WW low bounce K.
@@fredgarvin4252 it just has a little leading edge relief. They can do that in WW or grab a grinding wheel and modify to your liking. I’m not sure why everyone wants something that works for one player, but not for themselves.
@@brocklambert Shortgame chef 🧑🍳 recommends it! Sent him a video of chipping & bunker play.
Hi David, love your channel with its information. Can you tell if this wedge comes for sale here in The Netherlands (Europe)? Thanks
Probably going with the Max but having difficulty with picking a shaft. I'm fairly accurate but don't drive it far. Around 235-40. Never had my swing speed done but most agree I'm around 92-95 mph. Can you recommend a shaft?
I actually owned this A LONG time ago. It’s when Titleist released the “special grind” series. There was this one Another one with some holes drilled in it. And one other. I believe they were specific to Davis Love Tom Kite and Someone else. I would love to have another!!!
